After struggling with such challenges they were able to host their first tournament on television.

Little recognition took them a long way. This was a television show which was first of its kind and it gave the two friends many advantages. To the people who were watching this, it became part game show, part reality show and part drama. Nobody had ever hosted poker played by real people from small towns and cities and put them on television. The players were excited just as the viewers were.

After hosting one tournament, they pack their camera crew to stage another big event at another city. Poker enthusiasts therefore try to keep a track of the Heartland Poker Tour schedule.
